Habib is a Bedouin. He lives in a tent and uses a car battery to watch SAT-7 on a satellite TV receiver. Because he lives in an area where there are no churches or any other Christians, he began calling a counselling centre to tell them how much he enjoys SAT-7. He told the counsellor that he has been watching SAT-7 for years and requested a Bible. Habib treasures his Bible and often calls to ask questions and discuss what he is reading.
One day, he asked to meet with the counsellor face to face. He shared that God had put upon his heart the desire that his home become a church. He asked the counsellor to come and visit him to see how he and his family pray every day, first for SAT-7 and then for all the people in their area. When the counsellor asked him how he had learned all these things, he replied that it was from SAT-7. He shared that SAT-7 had taught him how to pray and how to be an example to his wife and children. Habib says that two other families have begun to pray with him and his family. Church has started in a place where there was none, because God used SAT-7's broadcasts to change one man's life.
